Congratulate Newly Organized Workers Updated On: Jul 09, 2020 Election Cylce employees of the Texas Democratic Party were looking to improve their working conditions and wages. They reached out to the leadership of the IBEW to gain Union reconition. It took six week start to finish and with the help of Local 220 Business Manager Phyllis Goines they were able to negoitiate better wages and benefits for the Election Cycle Workers. The Bargaining unit consist of Organizers, Constituiency Organizers, Regional Organizing Directors and Digital Organizing Managers.
